Did you know?

South Dakota has one of the largest indigenous populations with over 55,000 in population, which includes nine tribes.

It’s the home of the Dakota, Lakota, and Nakota tribes, which form the Sioux Nation.

South Dakota is also home to the worlds largest sculpture, and Mount Rushmore is not it!

That designation goes to Crazy Horse Memorial. Crazy Horse was a Sioux Indian chief, and his sculpture is the world’s largest at 563 feet high and 641 feet long.
